Online: Understanding & Developing Speech

We are delighted to be able to offer this workshop for parents of 0-3 year olds for NSSMBA & NSW AMBA Club Members.

Our presenter will be Katie Carmody, who is a Speech Pathologist and mother of twins. She works out of the Northern Area Health Service & has helped many of our families with early intervention services.

This session will cover:
 Understanding speech milestones
 Factors affecting speech
 When you may want to seek help/intervention
 How you can turn a simple play activity into an opportunity for
language explosion!
 Recommendations for using more than one language.
 The role of technology and screen time
